Hello! My name is Deja, my students call me Ms. Deja.

I’ve always liked singing since I was a child, but I was a band kid! I played in middle school, high school and got a band scholarship for college. I started singing my sophomore year of college(and changed my major to voice), and I’ve been singing recreationally and professionally ever since! Since moving back to the DFW area last year I’ve joined Pegasus Choral Society. I also take my own voice lessons and engage in local performances as I pursue a career in classical singing.

My biggest advice to aspiring musicians is everything worth doing requires practice, patience, and passion!

In additional to signing and playing piano, I also play trombone and flute! My favorite genres are opera, musical theatre, and R&B - to name a few.
