Hey y’all!
My name is McKenzie Morgan but you can call me Kenzie! I am from Mansfield, TX and I go to Dallas Baptist University! Go Patriots! And go Jesus! I went to Destiny Studio when I was 10 years old and was there for about 5 years! I took vocal lessons from the one and only Sarah who has been a big inspiration to me. I also took piano lessons and love accompanying myself and others. I absolutely loved it and it gave me the passion and confidence I have for music and performing now.
I got to perform at many different venues and was part of a band. It was a dream come true! It’s what started my musical journey!After I attended Destiny, I went and pursued theater and choir heavily. I have been in many musicals such as Sister Act, Legally Blonde, Into the Woods, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.
I was also a part of the opening act for Broadway Star, Kristen Chenoweth’s, concert! I have been in multiple choirs and have had constant coaching in voice. I also lead worship at a few different churches. While in college, I have had the opportunity to go and sing in New York with my choir and work with the composer/pianist Dan Forrest. I have written music, grown my skills in instruments, and become proficient in piano.
And I currently work at the Texas Trust theater behind the scenes with different artists such as The Beach Boys and Ben Platt. I listen to and perform everything from gospel/worship music to Broadway belts to country and pop to classical. I love it all!!! I’m excited to share my joy of music and experiences to help and support others! Some random fun facts about me: 1. Friends is my favorite show EVER 2. I have a huge sweet tooth 3. Traveling is one of my biggest hobbies
