Hey there! My name is Trey. I've been playing guitar since I was about 13. Along the way I composed soundtracks for indie video games, placed in competitions, performed across Texas with more bands than I can remember, and started my own music booking and production company. I also host a weekly open mic because apparently I can't stop being involved in music even when I'm not on stage.

I teach because I genuinely think music changes people and I've seen it happen. Guitar got me through some of the toughest spots in life.

My goal with every student is simple: find the thing that makes you want to pick up the instrument and build from there. Technique matters but passion is what keeps you playing twenty years later.

My advice to aspiring musicians come from Joe Satriani, "don't play if it hurts" - it reminds me that things that require practice also deserve time for rest.
