NIYAHEASTERLING

{songwriting + voice + guitar coach}

Niyah Easterling is a multi-instrumentalist with a passion for seeing others learn the beauty of music and share their experiences with those around them. Music shaped the memories of her childhood, as she began to sing at the age of 3 and has not stopped since. She would go on to study classical violin for 9 years, most significantly during her time at Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy ('17). While at Liberty University ('21), she would graduate with a B.S. in Music and Worship with primary emphasis in vocals and secondary emphasis in guitar.

  Niyah’s collegiate focus hinged upon the concept of using the arts as an outreach tool, and using music as a bridge between various cultures, languages, and communities. She has had the privilege of teaching basic music concepts to children in a refugee camp in Greece ('21), and of using music as a community outreach tool in Hungary and the Philippines ('22). She continues to operate in these music areas, along with exploring songwriting and personal artistry.

  Niyah is thrilled to meet each new student and spur on their musical gifts. Whatever the instrument, she will focus on areas such as:
   - fundamentals of music theory and notation
   - technique
      -  musicality, expression, and style
   - connecting the purpose with the gift (identifying the “why” within each student)
  Whatever you are looking to achieve, Niyah will help you get there! Let’s do this!!
